Where did August go? Make it come back!

Whew! It's been an exciting, busy and F-A-S-T month.

We survived our first Steppin' Out in beautiful downtown Blacksburg. It was so so hot and we had a couple of storms come through, but we were very happy with our success over the two day festival. Other vendors said it was the worst show (sales-wise) that they'd had there in years, so that was even more encouraging for us (to think that we could do even better). We learned a few lessons (keep that tent COOL!) but were better prepared than we'd thought we'd be for the first time.

We've added two new wholesale accounts this month - yay! Both are private label programs and we're looking forward to working with them. Sandy Bottom Market is a gourmet food store on the eastern shore in Deltaville, VA and Studio Mirage is a full-service salon in Waldorf, MD.
